i agree w/the one post where they said cut one said of the box so she can step into it easily. from my experience, i would start off w/the wee pads and get her to go on them. gradually move the wee pad closer to the litter box, until the wee pad is inside the box. keep it there for some time and gradually reduce the size of the pad until the entire pad is gone. remember everytime she goes on the pad and whe she starts to go in the box praise the dog so she knows shes doing something right! lol...good luck

You do realize that she is a dog right? Not a cat? Im not saying that to be mean but dogs are supposed to relieve themselves outside. Not in a litter box. I would get the dog housebroken instead. If you feel that you arent able to get her outside on a regular basis, then Im sorry to say, you need a cat instead. Its just my opinion. No offense intended.

When your chihuahua goes somewhere else, just be strict, BUT NICE. If you're mean to your pet, they won't like you anymore. If you use this method dayly, than your chihuahua will go in the box with out you being strict. Than it will continue to go their.

Rub her nose in the mess when she urinates then in the box. Not violently, or anything, just be authoritative. Someone once told me if a dog sees you pee there, they will understand that that is the place to go-- that one is up to you, I'm not woman enough to pee outside.
