I'm retired and am 62 years old with heart and arthritis problems. I wish more than anything to be pain free without the problems of pain medication. I can't take any kind of codeine or morphine because of related problems they cause. I am stuck with only Tramadol and Gabapentin which helps some. I would love to be pain free again.

You can't create time but a device that actually is a time manager rather than a time drainer would be nice. PDAs, cell phones, all inclusive gadgets just get people to stay "on" while wasting time.
How about something that zaps people with a Blue Tooth ear peice whenever they interrupt a live convo to answer the cyborg thing?

Dishes, Housework, Shopping, Paying Bills, Laundry, ect. Those are my everyday problems that accompany a 40-hour a week job.
My Invention? A micro-chip that can be implanted in men's brains so they stop being so #@*! lazy watching the women do it all!

I gave you a star of this one because I think it's a really good question. One invention that would be worthwhile ... a card system that would have all of the information required to get shopper advantage cards that can be used from store to store without having a wallet and keychain full of individual cards. It would be more convenient to whip out one card to scan for frequent shopper discounts, provide identification, etc. Let's call it the UniCard. I think there's a market for it... frustrated consumers and businesses that want your personal data available to better serve you and make more money off you.

A time remote like off click. I HATE getting up, taking a 5 min shower after swimming, being late for class, never having any time to hang out... gaaaaaaaaahhhh!!! >:( If not that, I would just get a magic pencil, pen, or paintbrush, draw a portal to paradise and go back and fourth whenever I felt like it (and it could also draw whatever I wanted) oh yeahhh... ;)

How about a golf cart and wheel chair combined? So someone in a wheel chair doesn't have to try to get a special van with a lift in order to go to the grocery store. It would have to allow them to back their electric wheelchair right into the cart (giving them extra storage space for groceries, etc.). It would also need to have extra power so they could use it on side roads.

I would love to have an inexpensive device like a note pad that you could load pdf files onto and read them away from the computer.

Maybe something to hold a remote control so it prevents it from becoming lost. Making it out of Lego's make it a bit harder.
