Is a diety who pops out of space and time to plop animals and "humans"--his little pet expirament-- on a tiny blue speck of dust of a planet he up and decided to create to test them to see whether they believe in him a good alternative "theory" to geology and biological evolution?

There is NO WAY to test creationism. God snapped his holy fingers and all of this came to be.

How on earth do you test that?

I think you need to think of it slightly differently.

Evolution (in fact all science) is an attempt by humans to understand the world around them. But it falls short of explaining many things. Evolution is a good explanation but it cannot explain everything.

While I do not like creationism, there is some validity to the creationists' effort to question evolution. Evolution is a theory and should be questioned and tested.

There is nothing in science that precludes the existence of God.

Nope, i don't. I additionally do not think of observations of ways the international began have something to do with proving or disproving the existence of God so i think of the finished debate is fairly theologically valueless. yet, purely for the sake of argument: are you able to recent one piece of info/actual observable documents that your scientific theories for the beginning up of the universe weren't initiated by a bigger being? Edit: and you're mind-blowing to assert that evolution has advantage, however the priority of technological understanding is that it may purely word, it won't be in a position to state objective and can not often state reason.

It's interesting that they all want to tell you what is wrong with evolution, but no one answers your question about the theory behind creationism. Here's the theory in a nutshell: God created the Earth and the Heavens in seven days. He put Adam and Eve on Earth and Adam went around naming all the animals.Everyone else who ever lived is descended from Adam and Eve. All of mankind exists because Adam and Eve's kids all had incestuous sex with each other. That's the "theory" of creation in a nutshell.

Yeah, why not.

Scientists do it all the time and in the next 500 years will "attempt" creation.

How will our creations view us and what will we do if our creations are flawed and anti-social in "our views."

The alternative theory is just as looney. There's a mindeless, souless cosmic casino that throws out chemicals and matter randomly and one group accidentially made us.

If creationism is SO weird, then why do we create tV set, IPods and microwave ovens. Why not wait for nature to evolve them out of iron ore.

Well to explain creationalism in scientific terms would be a contradiction in terms. There is absolutely no proof to back up this theory so it might be better looking to other schools of thought for a more adequate explanation.

No theory. Just a weak hypothesis: everything happened exactly as it said if the 5th edition of the King James Version of the Bible.

just to be fair..have you ever read; at the least, Genesis ?
sometimes one needs to be opened minded, sometimes it is good to be fairly aware of both sides of an issue.. questions are useful, because humans are curious, and always seeking some kind of truth. that is the second time you have demanded "exact scientific terms '. here is my exact term ; things that happened in the past, stays there, one must constantly evolve to fit in the daily order of our lives. one must be the best person one can be. one must move forward daily, theoretically and literally.

Actually, Creation Science works much like secular science but uses Biblical time lines instead of evolutionary time lines.
