Why I thought everyone knew it was Jesus. He is the connection between me and God. He is the One who set me free and stands up for me at the throne of God. He is the One who makes me holy and worthy of God.

We will never be equal with God. He is our creator and us His creation. That is also what connects us, he is the creator & Father to humanity. What will take you to that place, is your death! Only those with faith in Christ will stand on somewhat common ground!

I will be standing on my faith and the promises of God!
Good enough connection there and that is common ground enough!

I'll probably be standing on the fluffy ground of heaven. I'll respectfully shake His hand and ask him to kindly allow me to enter Paradise.

I am not completely sure.
The first image that popped into my mind though when I read that was
total silence. In a place where man is not present, and where nature has total reign over my surroundings.
Odd what images our minds create eh?

Jesus died for our sins so that we can be with God. Further, we believe we're "The Body of Christ".

"Stand" and you are connected!
"Look" and you will see
"listen" and you will hear
those with two good eyes

not when we die.
