My husband and I work during the day, and our dog stays in her crate until around 5:00pm. However, from the time we get home till the time we go to sleep we walk her, run with her, play with her, anything possible to keep her active.. She'll go to sleep with us when we sleep, but within 2 hours she's up again wanting to play.. and its a constant thing that carries on through the whole night. It's driving us nuts!!! any suggestions?

You could let her out of the crate and let her roam the house while you're gone. Or, you can hire a service, they're pretty cheap, that will come to your house and walk your dog during the day.

I dont know your living situation but sometimes keeping your dog in a crate will change their sleep paterns regardless of how well you echaust them lol we had this same situation with my corgi so here is what he did~ We blocked off our kitchen so the dog could get out of the crate and play with his toys as he wished and every other day turn on the radio~ very low~ i hope this helps~

Well i put my dog in his crate at night and it works really well. if you dont want him to be in his crate all the time you could put up gates somewhere in your house and make it so he can walk around in a certain area. like i have gates for my dog and i just keep him in the kitchen when we are gone for more than a couple of hours. hope this works! good luck!

you should probably leave your dog in your backyard, or in th garage. or you can leave the tv on for her all night until she goes to sleep. She shouldn't wake up. Or maybe it's somebody or something inside or outside of the house that is probably disturbing her. I hope you find a resolution.

What you should do, is to TRAIN YOUR DOG (not to be rude)! When your dog wakes up, don't be mean, but be strict. what you do is grab him/her by the scarf of their neck (the part that adult dogs use to carry their pups), and yell (in a nice way). Yell "NO" and then your dog will calm down. Then your dog will give you the puppy-dog-eyes, but you have to resist!
