Too many people throw the term around so loosely nowadays.

Adults who say "I love you" without meaning it - need to mature and learn what TRUE love means. Putting the other person before yourself...that is love.

no, if you don't mean it explain it to them why you don't mean it. The reason could be that you don't feel the same way or that you are just not ready to say that. Don't say it if you don't mean it.

I won't denie it, yes while I was dating my husband I would say "I love you" simply because I didn't want to hurt his feelings. BUT I did love him, I just didn't mean at those times because I didn't feel the love in me......sorryy

i dont because i believe it is wrong to give sum1 false hope in that kinda way but thats just me.if sum1 says it to u and u dont luv them back just say ur not ready or change the subject to sumthing really random
