I had trust problems as well. It seemed that everyone was out to get me and that they were never telling me the truth.
The problem is that we don't really trust others, we can't trust ourselves. "You can't con a con man". It always seemed that I could see through any con job but in reality there wasn't a scam at all.
Just listen to what others say and take there word for it; no matter how hard it is.

At least you trust 2 people. Since you trust 2 people, it's probably not your fault. It's the people around you.
You don't NEED to trust more than two people.
But if you WANT to, then you will.
Trust me...And that's a pun. A lame one.
:)
"Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me."
I don't trust people very well, and one of the reasons why was because I had this split personality, and the other side of me had NPD. I got rid of it, though.
Do YOU have Narcissistic Personality Disorder?
If you do, I can help you.

Trust is something that needs to be earned.
But sometimes even though you feel scared or insecure trusting people and sharing personal information with them, you just need to try and do it. Even if you think that they may not be trustworthy, just try to act like the are. Sometimes you need to take risks. Sometimes you need to close your eyes and keep walking, hoping that you will find the right way. If you don't, you will remain alone. In order to have a healthy life style, you need to communicate with people and feel that you can relate to them and that they are PART of you. If you don't trust, you can't feel them.

Hey,
You can trust me ok? I know how you feel, Ive felt that way since I was 10, now 3 years later I cant say that I am trusting everybody but I'm better.Has anyone ever done anything to you? Have you been betrayed before? Most people have never done anything to me but I cant trust them. Its ok though you just need to know what you can tell people, or if you want to tell them something important pretend its nothing, and if you realize you didnt want to say something but did just stop mentioning it, or tell them something that will blow their minds. It is hard, people may not understand, but just keep trying.

I am in that position now and have a solution. I divide all life into two groups ; the groupee-players and the loner-filler people. Decide on your group. Trust your group only. Learn to put everyone into either or. I then look to my invisible grandfathers for guidance. Where else can you turn. There is more to the system but that's it for now.

If you have trust problems, then what makes us think you'll accept our answers?
If you can't trust anyone but these two people, talk to them, ask for their help, Pray, if you have faith in the Lord, I can't say that I know you or what you're going through, because that is you and I am not, but your parents should be the second ones whom you should talk to, tell them why you feel you can't trust anyone. if you can't take that small step, read the Bible, it is about Trusting amongst other things.

My experience has been, only trust those you know really well.
It is normal to have a boundary of distrust of those you do not know very well.
Hope this helps.
