dude, you're 15, you have plenty of time to grow and if you're 5'11" now i'm sure you'll be 6'0" and beyond by your early twenties.

First of all, try not to sweat the height thing. 5"11 is well within the normal height range for guy, and seriously...it doesn't matter how tall you are.
Secondly, you're darn right you can hit a growth spurt, and grow that much! My son grew 4 inches in 3 months. He also got Osgood Schlatters disease (caused by growing so fast your growth plates can't keep up. It discontinues once you're grown, but he will always have bad knees). If you start to grow quickly, just be careful and try not to do anything high impact until the spurt stops.

Don't worry. I am currently 6'2 and I am 16 years old. When I was six years old I was already 5 feet tall. It seemed for a while that I was stuck at 5'5 but I hit a few spurts and I am still growing.
The projection at 6'4 is probably accurate considering your current height and the fact that your parents are tall.

Yes. I was 5'2 at age 14 and at 21 was 6'3".
I grew 4 inches between 14-16 and then one to two a year for the next three years.
It's completely possible that you will grow until age 21.
A doctor's answer seems to back this up:

Boys hit a bit of a growth spurt at around 13 when they hit puberty. Once you're about 18 you'll hit another growth spurt and grow a bit taller.
There's nothing wrong with being 5'11" anyways (the average height for a male is about 5'8!)

Sorry, but I am 6'1" and all my life I have wished I could have stopped at 5'11" like you. Over 6 foot and you will be dorky for your entire life. It just does not work out the way you imagine. Do you want different hair too or are you OK with that for now. Never ever wish your life away - there is not time if you are having too much fun as you are now.

Don't despair maybe your body is building muscle now It is not uncommon for males to grow between the ages of 14 and 18. Everyone is different. The next time you see your physician he can check to see if the growth plates in your legs have fused together if they have not then you are not finished growing .Eat healthy. exercise and enjoy life.

My son is about 5'11, but wears a 13 shoes.. I think he will grow into those feet... we will see.. but keep in mind.. it is also possible that you will stay at 5'11.. be ok with that...

You go through growth spurts...You can gain 3-4-5 inches in one spurt. Don't fret and let MotherNature take her course.
I went from 5'8" to 6'1" over ONE summer when I was 16.
