Are there relationships out there that are actually 50/50 or does one person always love the other more? I've heard people say to marry someone who loves you more and I've heard people say to marry someone whom you love more. Which is better or is there ever a balance? Whether it's true or not, feeling like you love the other one more can't make you feel good and feeling like they love you more has to make you feel not good enough and like why are you wasting your time.

It's a thinker... on par with Jesus and the burrito and the chicken and the egg. Any opinions and/or discussions are welcome!

I must say first off, it is refreshing to see a mature question like this on Yahoo Answers for once. I am so sick of questions like "Am I Pregnant?" or "Does This Boy/Girl Like Me?" or "This Celebrity is the Greatest!", etc.

That is a really tough question and I don't even know for sure if there IS a real answer to it.

I'd like to believe that there's someone out there for everybody that could love them completely, unconditionally and equally. But my experiences in life thus far counter what I'd like to believe. It seems that one person is a lot more upset and sad when a relationship ends than the other person who was in the relationship. I think maybe the relationships that end mutually (the people who break up and can remain good friends) are the ones where the two people loved eachother equally...because they accept eachother's faults and accept that although they're not meant to be, they still mean a lot to eachother. Otherwise, if the break-up isn't mutual, one is always going to feel more hurt than the other.

I guess those are my thoughts on the issue. I'm sorry I don't have much of an answer.....
