get ubuntu, its probably the most user friendly and free.

Dang Dang yes I wand Damn Small Linux, its supposed to be 50 megas only.
I never tested this on a Windows Pc but there are ways to emulate other operating systems with GUI....

Many distributions of Linux are free, such as Fedora Core, Cent OS, Slackware, Gentoo.

You will need broadband to download them as they can be up to 3 or 4 GB in size.

Try distrowatch.com There you can find cd/dvd links, and reviews, etc... All or mainly all linux distro's are gui, just not all installers. Also, ubuntu ships free from shipit.ubuntu.com
