Are there School Districts in Texas that accept J-1 Visa holder applicants for teaching positions? Do these Districts help accepted teachers change their kind of Visa into Working or Immigrant Visa?

I can't imagine that they'd accept a J-1 for a teaching position, unless it was part of your training/student teaching. The district that my husband works in (Galena Park ISD of Houston) has many international teachers and I'm assuming that they're there on an H-1B visa. You can apply for the H-1 status while your J-1 is still valid.

you have a greater effective probability of having the activity in case you spell it as "hiring." In some districts it may no longer count in case you are able to spell or no longer. otherwise, i think they might permit you be the guy who paddles the toddlers, which I hear they nevertheless do in many areas of Texas.
