I love the English Bulldog and they are great with kids. They are on the pricey side though $1500.00 and up.

Yorkies are not usually considered kid dogs ..... beagles even though they are not among the most popular list..... truly are the most kid friendly dogs among the smaller breeds ... although I don't think any (as far as best kid friendly dogs go)
can come close to the Golden Retriever!

Labrador Retrievers, they are so loving and affectionate, plus they are highly intelligent and versatile. My nephews take my Lab swimming and hiking in the summer and in the winter they go snowmobling and sledding with him.
