Soulmate as in one person out there that is a perfect match? No. And think of the terrible problem if this were true and it just so happened your perfect match lived in the outback of Australia with no access to a phone or computer or... well, no chance of ever meeting! That'd suck (though, I must admit, there have been stretches of time where I've imagined exactly that case being true!).
As for a soulmate being someone you meet and mesh with and grown in the same direction over time and become even closer? Sure. Most research has it that the average person will meet somewhere between 4-7 people in their lifetime are could qualify as a "perfect match." Of course, if you hold out waiting for that one soulmate to arrive, you will most likely not meet anyone. In the end it's a numbers game, the more people you meet and get to know, the more likely you are to find someone that is a potential soulmate.

I used to believe in the concept of a soulmate. Now I believe that you can make strong connections with various individuals throughout a lifetime, not just one.

Yes I do believe in soulmate's. There is one for everyone out there. Some find theres and others don't.

i believe that there i someone out there for everyone. true love is not a myth or a nonubtainable thing. i have always wanted a family. i have tried over the course of my early years. now i just have decided that it will come soon enough. i know i wont be alone forever. right now i concentrate on work and my kids and ms right will be here some day.
