LOL,
The BBC is showing the results of a weather prediction, compiled by home users on their PCs around the world, and I was one of them!
All countries are committing suicide, by burying their heads in the sand, and not willing to face facts.
And until there is cooperation, and an effort on the part of all polluting countries, the weather will get worse.
Close your eyes, and pretend it is not happening, it is your children who will inherit your ignorance!

People seem to have very short memories, when it comes to the weather. We get one severe storm and it *must* be global warming, because it's never happened before, has it?
Hasn't it? I'm not that old, but even I can remember worse storms. 1987, anyone? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Storm_of_1987
Yes, we had a storm this week, but everybody needs to calm down a bit. This is nothing unusual.
In the words of Michael Crichton...
"At any moment there are 1,500 electrical storms on the planet. A tornado touches down every six hours. We have ninety hurricanes a year, or one every four days. Again, right on schedule. Violent, disruptive, chaotic activity is a constant feature of our globe.
Is this the end of the world? No: this *is* the world.
It’s time we knew it."

Well- we have seen some killer storms. In the case of flooding, a storm cellar would be of little use (guess where that water's going!). But I'm a great believer in just in case. I don't think it will hurt anything anyway.

Yes, We've had tornadoes here in the UK recently. one of the most recent was in london that damaged something like 150 house roofs and injured quite a few people. We had a tornado where I'm studying in wales too.

Yes you are right. France has hurricanes; now never had before. And in the Kingdom of Arabia, where I lived 13 years it is now so cold in winter that I have to wear a fur coat and we have to install heat in the villa. Nearly freezing and windy. In fact it was colder than Paris and London, and at the same time. What's happening!
So Yes, I say yes.

It depends: Storm cellars (or as we call them here in the Midwest "fraidy holes" are primarily for protection against toranados (aka twisters) have you had any of these?

I think you should be building a boat not a storm cellar.

I believe you are on to something. In Los Angeles, we have had the hottest and the coldest winter days on record. That follows 2 of the wettest winters on record. And just what was happening at Heathrow Thursday afternoon?

Probably, but I wouldn't worry just yet, It is predicted that we will have an ice age soon, in the next 15,000 years, before that the weather may get warmer, who knows? One thing, don't trust the politicians to tell you. they lie!

Why do people think that global warming is propaganda? It is worsening, no harm in doing that, but you probably won't need for another few years.
