Well, God tells us that it is like nothing we could imagine.
We know we will like it.
I think that we will like it so much that we will want to be around for eternity.
But what's the point? God created us to be with Him forever. When we go to heaven, we are finally fulfilling our purpose and we couldn't be more satisfied.

An afterlife is eternity. The rest of forever!!! This life here is a test, to see if our souls are worthy to have an afterlife..If not, it is eternal death.

people who believe in a body and soul that are separate from each other logically have to believe in some sort of afterlife. it just comes with the package.
