Feel your hair, and where it begins to fell rough is where it needs to be cut. In the mean time use a heavy conditioner like pantene on the bottom half of your hair, now if yo do not have oily hair you can use it at your scalp, just rinse it well.

Of course it's bad! Soon it will become a really bad habit and you'll want to keep doing it! And then, before you know it, your hair is uneven and it's in different lengths! That is so not cool. Also, it's real embarassing, who would want to pull split ends off in school? But to keep healthier hair, use de-frizzing hair serum every day after each shower and it will get better, trust me! And good luck with your split ends!

i do no longer think of that pulling chop up ends aside is a solid concept simply by fact it does much greater injury on your already broken hair. Pulling out gray hair and getting greater to strengthen back is a fable - in any different case my grandfather might have an entire head of hair suitable now!

Yes. Instead, take some scissors and very carefully while holding your hair up 3 or 4 inches (to save length of hairdo) snip them. If you pull them this way you will lose more hair in volumne as well as length.

Well, it will just split the hair shaft that much further, meaning if you cut less than that length off, you'll STILL have a split end.

Yes, that is really bad, you're making the split go up higher. Go get your hair trimmed.

It's not only bad for your hair, but it's also distracting from your schoolwork. May I suggest a visit to a good hair salon? The hairdresser will tell you how to correctly repair your hair.(And then your grades will improve too!)

Yes, it is...you should get special hair products to help heal them and to help more you should brush your hair from the roots up to not break anymore

Also I find that really think lotion on your ends mosturizes them without making them oily

Better to cut them off. They will just continue to split and split.
