Specifically to chop one up with a sword and/or to kill one while in the womb? God ordered this MANY times (see Amelkites, Canaanites in the OT).

If it is NEVER moral to kill an infant, how can you say god is moral? If it is "sometimes" moral to kill an infant, how can you say you believe in moral absolutes?

Thanks.

Good question. It surprises me that most Christians are so anti-abortion when their God seems to be such a big supporter of it.

There's a theory that some of these tribes were killed because they were nephilim (half man/half angel). The nephilim were too strong, too smart and too dangerous to humankind. The fallen angels that married the women taught the people lots of stuff they weren't mentally ready for, warfare, weapon making, lots of things that we weren't evolved enough for, which apparently we're still not. The nephilim were extremely dangerous, and needed to be gotten rid of, they were killing humans and if they continued, they most likely would have taken over. They were never meant to exist. Noah's flood was supposedly to rid the world of the nephilim, but a few survived, hence the attrocities you're talking about.

It's a theory.

I don't think "moral" can be defined. This is my personaly opinion. What is moral to me might not be moral to you.

I will try to answer your question. We are bound by our view from the earth in our mortal minds. God sees things differently. When a child dies they are instantly with him. It is not the end of thier life. From our perspective death is the worst thing that could ever happen, God sees it differently.

I trust God, I believe he knew what he was doing. Perhaps when we get to eternity it will make more sense to us.

That was the OT god. The NT god has gotten counseling ( Satan's suggestion) and is taking Prozac and Celexa. No more hacking of any humans. It 's a happy friendlier God now.

If you understood His reasons, and seen things through his eyes, and felt with his heart.... perhaps you would understand. I would stand behind God, and trust him before anyone else on the face of any planet.

I am a cybernetic organism from your earth's future. I am here to kill the woman who will give birth to mankind's messianic leader, responsible for turning the tide in the war against man and machine.

God has always been against abortion. He has never ordered the abortion of children. It was mankind that had ordered the abortion of these unborn babies. God would never want his children to be destroyed. We are all made in his image.
