How to save Sequential files in Photoshop?

I want to create an animation but create all the still in photoshop. I want to create an action set to minipulate my image and than in the action set save the image as a jpeg. How can I have the computer auto sequence the names so I do not end up saving over the file?

Well, the obvious answer is to do File/Safe As. Usually sequence images are gif, not jpeg, in my limited experience.
