You'd definitely know if you didn't have true friends. They would go behind your back and talk about you. And if you told them something and they told other people when you told them not to tell anyone.

Do they love and accept you for who you are? Are they there for you when you need them? Are you there for them, too? Do you share the same interests and hobbies? Do you understand each other well?
OR
Do they pressure you to do things that you don't want to? Do they pressure you to act differently? Do they try to change you, manipulate you, or influence you for their own benefit? Do they take advantage of you? Do they hurt you repeatedly, refuse to be seen with you, or put you down?
