If you've known a girl that you really like for several months and she regularly makes casual but repeated references to the concept of marriage in general, or her getting married at some point in the future, or talks a lot about her friends that are already married -- just wondering what is she really trying to say here?

Probably that she's been thinking about getting married a lot lately..or maybe, she's interested in you, and wants to know your views on marriage and if you're ready. Some women who are set on getting married, will only get with men who are looking for a potential bride :)

Depending on waht you mean by knowing this girl, if she is your GF she is meaning Marriage or that it would be nice to take the next step. if she is just a friend with intimacy means that that is not what she is looking for. but if she is just your friend nothing else, she is letting it go, she is frustrated for the fact of feeling old and yet not have find the right one yet (in this case it is a good chance to throw yourself at her specially when she is talking about marriage)..
ps dont hurt her feelings, obviously she is looking for something , if you are not willing to commit, step aside. it is not nice to take advantage.

i bet mJc is eother right, or in the right area. ask her, or, if you think indirect would be better (as it is on some matters and with some ppl) next time you are on an outing with her, ask her to stop in a jewelry store and get an idea of what style rings look good to her, see how seh reacts GL

if she likes you also, then she is probably saying that it is possible in the future that the two of you could tie the knot. otherwise, if she does not have romantic feelings for you, she is simply saying she wants to marry someone someday.

Hi :) I am a 33yr old Australian lady. And my advise to you mate .. Is to TALK TO HER IN PRIVATE!!... She maybe just single and lonley?? ... and not able to keep these feelings to herself!!.. OR... She LIKES YOU!!...And does not know how to let you know that you are THE ONE she wants to have a relationship / future with??...
