I have heard the rumour that when you cut yourself and it bleeds regularly, that you will live longer if you suck the blood until you can't handle anymore, or it simply stops. Is this true?!

Unlike some animals, our saliva doesn't contain antibacterial agents; the blood you put in your mouth won't matter, but putting your mouth on an open wound is an EXCELLENT way to get it infected. Stick with tissues or gauze to stop the bleeding, then cover the wound with antibiotic ointment (like Neosporin) and a bandage.

That is so not true! You throw up if you get too much of your own blood in your stomach.

Not true.

You can't digest your own blood, so any large amounts of it will likely make you vomit. Otherwise, it just comes out in the toilet, so there's no point.
