Ask them for money and if they give you some say thanks then shut the door in their faces, and if they don't give you money say just a second then shut the door in their faces and leave them at your front door.
I have always got some cream for your peaches!

A common misconception is that Jehovah's Witnesses go from door-to-door because they feel it is their duty to "recruit" a householder, or get him to "convert". In fact, Jehovah's Witnesses would go from door-to-door even if there were no hope that anyone would change their religion, or even if no one would listen to them!
That is because Jesus Christ specifically assigned the house-to-house ministry to the Christian congregation, with no regard for specific results.
(Luke 10:1,2) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos in advance of him into every city and place to which he himself was going to come. 2 Then he began to say to them: “The harvest, indeed, is great, but the workers are few. Therefore beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to direct attention to the bible, and move on when their message is unwanted. Since each congregation in the United States tries to call at every home in its territory at least twice each year, there is strong motivation for them to move on where little interest is shown. Also, the Scriptures help the Witnesses to expect little interest from most:
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching ...and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

We feel there is nothing more important than following our beliefs and sharing them. If you do not want to be visited simply talk to your local Kingdom Hall. We do not wish to waste time bothering those who do not wish to waste the time to be bothered (Did that make sense??) Since the net is a large place and you could be almost anywhere on the planet asking us to not visit you on here does little good. Once you make your feelings clear, we will not bother you. Keep in mind, there will still be a visit once or twice a year as opinions are subject change and there is a chance of you moving. Hope this helps.
NOTE: A pentagram on the door is not a "scary" thing to us. I view it as no different that a cross on the door. We realise that most people have beliefs, even if that belief is a lack of belief. We are simply offering to share what we believe. If you do not want to share fine, but we certainly do not discriminate against people because they have their own opinion in the first place.

You are so wrong. Jesus did this same work. His followers are commanded to do this same work.
It says in the bible to do this work.
Commanded to Preach:
Matthew 24:14 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
Jesus disciples: Acts 5:42; And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus.
Jesus talking: Acts 20:20; while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house
We are ordered to preach: Acts 20:42; Also, he ordered us to preach to the people and to give a thorough witness that this is the One decreed by God to be judge of the living and the dead
Matthew 28:18,19,20 And Jesus approached and spoke to them saying “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth, 19 God therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you
And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.
Acts 10:42 Also he ordered us to preach to the people and to give a thorough witness
2Timothy 4:2 preach the word, be at t urgently in favorably season, in troublesome season

I would recommend using one of two methods.
First, contact a Local Synagogue and talk to the Rabbi. Ask him how the ancient Jews of almost 2000 years ago dealt with their fellow brethren who were following the Christian cult when they came around to their doors telling them that their rituals, traditions, and observances, dating back 2000 years were no longer valid. Though this cult, which followed the teachings of an uneducated former carpenter, who was justifiably executed by the state, still ended up spreading and infecting the world with their clearly false teachings that the Messiah had come, they may still have had ways that worked.
A good example would have been Saul of Tarsus, who had the advanced education to prove Christians were a false religion and cult whose house to house work needed to be suppress to protect the true worshipers of God. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saul_of_Tarsus
Now, since Jehovah's Witnesses are doing this very same work of continuing to spread the same false doctrine as they were nearly 2000 years ago, just follow the example of the early Jews who clearly had the true religion.
If you don't want to go to all that effort, than the next time a JW comes to your home, ask them to please make a notation on the back of the territory they have checked out that you would like house to be skipped for now. It will be dated and no one will return for six months.

Do you actually listen to what Jehovah's Witnesses have to say? Many do listen and like what they hear. They like the promise of a eternal life in a paradise earth (Revelation chapters 21 and 22 and some chapters in Isaiah draw vivid word pictures of paradise on Earth). They are amazed to find out that prophecies written and uttered thousands of years ago are being fulfilled today. (Matthew chapter 24 amongst other texts). The next time one of Jehovah's witnesses calls when it's convenient, give them five minutes to outline what the Bible teaches about the present and the future. Five minutes out of your life is not much to ask for.
Of course, I realise it's not for everyone. If you really want Jehovah's Witnesses to stop calling on you, get in touch with the local congregation elders and insist that they no longer come to your door. An elder from the congregation may thereafter call by from time to time to make sure no Witneses is preaching to you on your doorstep. He will not preach to you himself but will simply ask if the local witnesses have kept away from your door. Another reason the Elder may call is to see if you are still living at that address. If you move and someone else moves in, they may be more receptive. We can't always tell whether someone will want to learn what the Bible say or would prefer to reject it. That's one reason why we try to call on everyone in the neighbourhood.
I hope you find peace from your troubles in the days ahead for yourself and your family. If you already have it, I hope nothing ever spoils it, since peace is such a rare and valuable gift today.

Move to an apartment building - preferable one with a security guard.
Its the guards job to turn them away and I have not once been bothered by anyone knocking at my door - except the politicians when they are on campaign (and they're allowed) - in the last 5 years.

actually they have a right to do so and a precedent was set when someone as upset as you by their practices sued them, then the decision was brought all the way up to the Supreme Court of the united States and they won.
I am quite annoyed at this practice myself. I used to work a night shift and they kept waking me up just an hour or two afetr I had gotten to bed. So I began by trying to convince them of Zoroastrianism, I would tell them that I had to tell them about this great religion (although I'm not Zoroastrian,it was just a tactic) I was rude and would not let them a word edge wise, it took two times then the word got around and they stopped coming to my door, one of the children wanted to know more!!! ha!

Put a sign on your door that states you are not interested as you already have a religious preference. Also do not feel obligated to answer your door. It took me all these years to discover I have the right NOT to answer my phone or my door if I choose not to!!!!!!!!!!!! They are univited so you should choose whether you want to visit or not, if someone calls and it is inconvenient call them back later! I have even had to learn to do this with close friends and relatives as I sometimes am tied up with important things when they call. If it is a salesman or someone wanting to visit about their religion I sometimes just do not go to the door as they are so hard to get away from! Remember You have Rights!!!!!!!!!

I got them back once, I turned up at one of their temples and joined in. Man, I was wearing jeans and reaking of tobacco, all the men wear suits! I was disappointed because they didn't invite me back to a house afterwards and just let me wander off. Not what I was expecting from them at all
One observation, the mighty fine number of beautiful girls there. It was somewhat cult like but quite like church, even a wacky sermon about the UN being the antichrist one world government!
Not a bad bunch but a little off the wall, I was a little bit scared in there, but you can't go knocking on people's doors and not expect half-crazy people to wander into their temples... ha ha
The only redeeming feature was they called each other brother and sister just like the early church... never heard that from any other Christian group. I mentioned it and they didn't even realise it was impressive, sigh... they could be so much more
