Why do men feel that they can not be honest with you? Dont they know honesty is the best policy? If men were just honest with women about how they feel, then the woman would know exactly where she stands with the man, and not be fooled into thinking she has something with you that she doesnt. WHY?

Part of it is how the man is raised. What father figures were around him? Part of it is the cr*p we are fed on TV and by society. And I think part of it is just our perverse nature. Men are usually given the wrong messages when it comes to dealing with women. Men don't usually realize how special and precious women are. Sometimes you have to hit the mule with the 2x4 to get his attention. You need to create some situation where you have the mans undivided attention. No TV, no music, just you and him eyeball to eyeball. Then you have to tell him to talk to you, to be open, to be honest. This has to be done over and over. It's scary for most guys. It's uncharted waters. It's not all the guys fault, it depends on how we are raised and on our temperaments. The guy can change but it can take time and they have to want to. The secret is this: You have to convince the guy it was his idea to do whatever. To change, to talk, to be open, honest, to communicate. If you can convince a guy that something is his idea, he will do just about anything. Now don't tell anybody where you got this secret from or I will be kicked out of the men's club and have to turn in my you know whats. lol. Good luck. Some guys arent honest just because their assholes and they think they own the world and that they can do anything... But there is guys out there who are really good and honest u just have to keep on looking and you'll find him.

Guys are different. They don't like to express themselves as much as us girls do. They will lie to make you feel good too. Like for example if you ask "Does this shirt make me look fat?" He will answer "No" just so he doesn't make you feel bad.
