the electrostatic epoxy coating was used to a charged copper wire passing through a vacuum-was patented and awarded to a couple who worked at anaconda corporation in the 1970's from sycamore,Illinois plant that is now closed since 1987, but it probably could be on the local records and memories as to who who this guy and his wife were-they were a local couple i remember
