I found a line of products I want to try, including moisturizer, and I was wondering if moisturizer heps even out skin tone even if it's not the tinted kind. (The one I want isn't.) Thanks :)

I work at a tanning salon, and I know that by no means makes me an expert, but I find that by keeping your skin hydrated, you get a more even color throughout. That's why when your skin is really dry, it turns that nasty white ashy color.

Try to get something without mineral oil in it, because its actually pretty bad for you. (your skin absorbs it and it passes through your liver)

hope this helps:)

A moisturizer will not even out skin tone. Make-up will even out skin tone by covering the skin. To use a product other than make-up to even out skin tone - you need a treatment product. Your routine should be cleanse, tone (optional), treat, then moisturize. {Once a week cleanse, exfoliate, then use a facial mask, then cleanse again and moisturize.} Find a treatment product that specifically states on the label - "evens skin tone".

no- moisturizer hydrates. If you want to even skin tone you can use a tinted moisturizer( which is like a light, hydrating foundation) or a foundation or mineral makeup. Personaly, I like and use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. It is light coverage and hydrating. You can get it at Nordstrom, Saks, Bloomingdales- department stores.

It will only moisturize for you. If you want to try a really good line of skincare then look up myhealthabcmall.com and go into the beauty section, the stuff is awesome.
