I have been out long enough they have to get my past service records from the achives in Ottawa. Does anyone have any experiance with this or have any idea how long it could take?

Hi, I searched the web and visited many CF web pages including recommended links without success. I ended up sending an email to jobs@forces.ca mentioning that no information is available on this topic and that all the sites listed on their links page, in addition to the main site, are far from being user friendly.
I was equally surprised that I couldn't search any of the web addresses for "re-enlist", "re-enlistment", "enlist", "join", "return to service". Clearly, they need to upsnuff their web site.
I commend you on your decision and hope to have an answer which I will post upon receipt...most likely Monday since it is late Friday night.
