It's very doubtful that your pain is caused by appendicitis. The pain from appendicitis is constant, is accompanied by other symptoms that you haven't mentioned having and doesn't occur in the stomach. The pain is abdominal. I'm not sure you know where your stomach actually is and you may be referring to your abdomen. The stomach is in the upper left quadrant of the abdomen and is partially under the ribcage. I also can't see you physically point to where it hurts. What you're calling the lower right side, I might call something else. Abdominal pain can be caused by intestinal gas, constipation and a host of other things. While I can tell you what it isn't, I cannot tell you what it is. If it continues or worsens and intereferes with your daily activities, consult your physician.

It "could" be just about anything! Stomach pain from appendicitis, though, usually begins around the naval and then moves to the lower-right. That pain usually worsens gradually, and is worse when you move around as well. Usually a person with early appendicitis is nauseous as well, and often running a fever. If this doesn't sound like what you've got, you're probably fine. It may just be gas (try taking an over-the-counter gas remedy like Gas-X). If the pain persists or worsens, or you become nauseous or get a fever, see a doctor as soon as possible.

your appendix is located in the lower right quadrant of your abdominal cavity. a sharp pain that comes and goes could have many different causes. if it was appendicitis you would also have fever, nausea and the pain wouldn't ebb and fade it would be persistant. however, always err on the side of caution, if you are really worried about it then go see your dr.

Yes it could be! But you need to go to the doctor. They will take a blood test and see if your white cells are up, indicating something is wrong! Your body is fighting somethng off. If it is your appendics, and they burst, you run the risk of dying, as then the stuff in your appendics goes into your system, causing major infection and even gangerine!!!!!! My Dad's appendicts burst, and we almost lost him! GO TO THE DOCTOR!

It depends on how long you have been having them. Appendicitis just gets worse and worse until you can't stand it. Finally it bursts and poisons your body.
If you have been having them for longer than a week it's probably something else? Are they sharp? Do they burn or ache? throbbing? Constant? More info is needed.

If you press on the area that has pain, and it hurts worse when you stop pressing, then it could be your appendix.
