I was brought up a catholic, theres no reason why i should not be religious, only i just don't see it being true. Ok, theres a god who made us, or are we just a couple of cells. Its just too far fetched, theres a science alternative to everything, the creation of earth. Etc. I mean, where were we before birth? Dead. I would like to see a god, but i cant help not. One side of me says "Of course thers a god, and a heaven, we are all just fine". And the other says "God? Ok Are you going to start believing in fairytels now. How silly wake UP."

The same reason why if you see a bunch of people running down the street you feel the need to run, too. It kind of snowballed back in the stone age.

Why do I believe in God?
1) Science answers nothing of significance.
Where did the universe come from.
How was life formed. From non life?
Who programmed the complicated sequences of DNA that took us 5 years to decode using the most advanced computers.
Where does ethics and the conscience come from? Other animals don't have it...
2) Philosophy is an ever-changing rambeling that makes no real sense, and can not be applied to the real world. It only exists in college professors minds.
3) My imagination, or other people's imaginations? Since when can what you imagine exist?
There is only one other option is God. Then from there you must determine which God created the universe, which God made and designed life, which God wrote the laws of physics that science uses, which God gave man a conscience to know right from wrong... From my research, only the God of the bible fits all of my questions perfectly...
Keep looking...

All God wanted was a family, so God thinks kids.
The souls of people are the thoughts of God....
When God breathes into his thoughts, we are born spirit, and God sends these baby spirits on their way to be born, to become redeem person.
We are all here for a reason, and everything happens for a reason. God has plans for us all, and our seed blooms at it's due time, the time God has need for his plan, that's why God loves us all the same, no matter what it is you done-sin, because God knows we all have the ability to change, asking for forgiveness.

You either do or you don't. It comes from inside you, you just know.
I can't explain it very good, I just know when I needed Him my God was there. I have experienced things that leave me with no doubts. But each individual needs to discover this for themself.
You may or may not but as long as you live a positive life and try to make the world a better place, you should never doubt your afterlife.

No wonder you have so many questions. The Catholics are really bad for rearranging the Bible to suit what they want to teach.
Get yourself a Bible (not from the catholics) and start reading Gods word and you will find the real "truth" as God had intended.
God Bless & good luck sweetie !

God's Kingdom is God's system or His way of doing things. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Faith requires that you believe before you see. While in this world one does have need of the senses but when you can't see, touch, taste, hear, or smell something you are forced to hope for it. Hope is like surrendering all of your intellect and reasoning over to the possibility or chance of the thing you hope for to come to pass. Faith is like hope. So how can you say that believing in God is all fantasy without validity? It takes faith to understand God and His Kingdom. The world says "I'll believe it when I see it." God says "Believe it and then you will see it (in the spirit for now; heaven later).

Because...I can't just believe that a "big bang" in space created everything. If they say that, the where's the theory to where space came from? G-d created us all, and that's that. I'm not saying that you should believe that, but that's what i know is true. I mean come on, what's your theory???

Some believe because they choose to. Some because they are afraid not to. Some because they have never questioned it. Some because they were taught to. Lots of reasons.
Believe what you think makes the most sense.

God exists, like it or not. The Bible has been noted as the most historically and archaeologically accurate work written. Prophecies in it were fulfilled. Jesus rose from the dead, these things all confirm that God is real and following Christ is the way into heaven.
