He said he wanted to go home but why did he not try to call or leave he was 11 and now he is 15 he can't be that weak can he

I think Oprah should be ashamed of herself. Having this family on her show was very tasteless. She will get away with it because she is who she is. I never liked Oprah, but this has to be the icing on the cake of why I don't like Opran.
As for Shaun...I wish him the best in overcoming this part of his life. The psychology of a him not leaving is very complex...way beyond the armchair psychologist who think he should have simply escaped when given the chance.

When you're the victim of a crime, it's a traumatic experience. You never know how you're going to react, unless you too are put in the same situation. That being said, it would be presumptuous of me to say what was going through his head, considering I've never been in the same situation.
