My son was the exact same way! I tried every bottle they have out there, but he just woke up one day and decided to start drinking the correct way. He used to bite the nipple too on the Nuby brand. Instead I just bought him the Gerber ones with the hard sippy spout. If people back in the days learned with those why not him? My son started drinking the right way at about 13-14 months. I wouldnt worry too much about it. He will come around. Good Luck!

The Nuby's are great, I agree! My twins really liked them b/c it was like sucking on a nipple. They took to it better than any of the other ones (even the soft spouts). They were on to the Nuby's (and whole milk) by their 1st birthday. That will help him transition to other sippy cups. Try putting the formula in the sippy cup so he will take to it with something familier in it. You can purchase the Nuby's at either Walmart or Target. I don't remember seeing them at babies r us.

Best of Luck!

I've actually seen bottles with a sippy cup attachment on top...I'm almost positive it was at walmart. My daughter, who is now 16 months old, only switched to a sippy cup about 3 months ago. I would only put juice in the sippy cup and milk in the bottle and it seemed to work. Good Luck!

Yes there is one that I found it at Wal-Mart it was a green cup and it could go from being a bottle to a sippy cup.
After trying all different types of sippy cups my little girl used that one and had no problems with and I was able to get her off the bottle that way.

Avent bottles sell handles that you can put on their bottles. My son really didn't take to sippies until after a year. I tried every one out on the market, my sister said to just relax, her children did the same thing and were on sippies full time after 18 months. After awhile he'd take the nuby one once a day, then it was for all feedings. I just kept offering it to him, even at solid food time, he'd drink out of it because he would get real thirsty. He saw his older cousin drink out of the hard spout ones and now he hates the nubies lol.

Are you finding the Nuby with the soft nipple? It resembles a bottle nipple. By girl went right into it once she hit 1 yrs old. Make sure you put the same things you usually put in the bottle.

He's probably just not old enough yet. I wouldn't worry about it.
