Do a search on any of the web sites that sell wine (you can search without actually purchasing). Search for: dessert wines, Muscat, Port, Riesling.
One that I would recommend is:
Bonny Doon NV Framboise Infusion of Raspberries (half-bottle) This is a delightful sweet wine. It’s been awarded 90 points from Wine Spectator and 92 from Wine Enthusiast. Enjoy the captivating raspberry aroma and flavor…this wine is a dessert by itself! ($12.99)

ah! a man after my fiance's heart. he so loves these. (however i love a dry red like a Bordeaux french reds are fabulous) cant go wrong with a Riesling--they are sweet white wines, and best to select a German White Riesling...they are most fine.
a decadent rose or blush would suit you well too. try Sutter Home, its cheap and decent. or if you can find it...my personal favorite is by the Williamsburg Winery in Virgina...their Plantation Blush is to die for! however this is strictly regional...but you can order it over the internet.
and another good, and very cheap sweet fruity wine are the ones that are fruit wines...you can find them in most any liquor store. there are many brands, and they are usually flavoured like melon-peach or raspberry, or something like that. they are good for beginners.

Try asking someone at www.totalwine.com if you are East Coast, you may even have a location near you...they have some great wine experts, and an enormous selection of wines.
