Education is not as incintivised as the communist, work for nothing attitude south of our border. Give me your views?

I know the point you're making. When we say that we want to build a wall on our border, we are told that we just tore down the Berlin wall and now we want to build another here. But their argument is flawed since Germany was torn in 2 by the Berlin wall with Russia controlling the east side and not allowing anyone out even if West Berlin would have accepted them.
A wall along our border would be to protect our own sovereignty from for invasion...which is precisely what is currently occurring.

Berlin wall separates Germans 1/2 controlled by USA 1/2 controlled by Russia, in other words, it separated democracy from Communism

I am with YO! on this one, if that is what you are talking about. Why are we putting up a wall? I feel like we are doing the same thing that the Germans had done..You would think we could be more civilized.!!

I'm not illegal, and I don't care what the Berlin wall separated. I want a wall of our own for our own reasons.

I agree, I wish that we would build a wall on our southern border. But Mexican officials are already trying to go to the U.N. and get them to stop us in our wall construction. They beleive that the western United States is theirs and are trying to "claim" it back because we "took" it from them. It's called spoils of war, get over it.

the entire border became once guarded. maximum people do not realize that Berlin isn't on the border between east and west. it truly is is in the middle of what became once East germany. The wall became between East and west berlin, dividing the city astounding in the course of the traditional streets. in case you seem at a map you'll see why many persons used the route into west berlin. there's a museum at Checkpoint Charlie that shows how human beings tried to flee.
