lasy year we had a great holiday with our kids in brean sand, somerset, also we have been to poole, skegness and blackpool, all of which are good with kids, but wherever you decide check this website out, basically instead of booking through the agents you book direct with the owners, their caravans are still on parks like butlins and haven etc, but they cost a lot less, because its direct, adn most include the tickets and passes etc, we saved £600 when we did it this way, its usually a £50 deposit for the caravan and you get that back after, if you leave the caravan nice and tidy, its www.directholidayhomes.co.uk
if you want to ask me any questions about it, or for futher details, leave a message for me! hope this helps emma c!

York, Edinburgh, North East Coast and the Lake District.
Loads to do for all ages in all these places.
http://www.visitbritain.com/
This site will be invaluable for you.
The great thing about this country is you can visit a few places if you wish if you have enough time as the UK isn't that huge.
(e.g. York to London - 2 hours on the train/York to Edinburgh 2 and a half...)
Hope this helps!

You can't go far wrong with a family holiday to the Isle of Wight. There are some fantastic beaches and beautiful country walks, not to mention the various theme parks. A favourit place for my family to stay has been Sandown.

The south coast is lovely - Dorset, Devon, Cornwall...
It all depends on what sort of things you like to do really. If you like walks and scenery then definitely recommend the above three places (plus Monkey World is in Dorset and that is my favourite place in the whole world!!!) but if ou are looking more for activities then try Haven or Butlins.

depends on your family your budget and what you want to do, if you like organised entertainment and nonstop action butlins if you like the outdoors then hoseasons do some nice logcabins in the countryside or blakes do stays on farms in dorset and areas like that where kids can get close to the animals. But I would say one of the best places would be Devon/Cornwall/Somerset areas as there are lots of wildlife parks themeparks picnic areas beaches with rockpools and family fun also large choice of familyfriendly hotels and caravan/tent/chalet parks.

Cornwall. It's picturesque but has loads to do whether you are a kid or an adult. There are beaches and quaint villages open fields and cliffs but also museums and places with activities. My niece and nephew aged 5 and 8 love it as do my older relatives aged from 20 to 80.
