Well, my dad's ok now, but my brother is mad, and asleep, and we are planning a surprise dinner for him with balloons and everything! BUT, my dad is DRUNK! My brother HATES it when my dad is drunk, so how do I get the drunkenness out of him??????? We will wake my brother up soon, like in 20 minutes! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OR, how can I make him sleep????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! My dad is scary when he's drunk!

Wake up your dad with some love. Smiles and little girl hugs work for keeping him out of the A_shole moods. Give him some coffee and diner can be an our late.Wait until you dad is less drunk before you sit down to have the brother birthday. Or better yet. Leave you druck a-sss dad at home asleep and take you brother out to a movie just the two of you. He will surely laugh at a humorous movie . GO OUT AND LEAVE DAD DRUNK AHAHAHAH
Thats funny

Only time will help him get sober. Sometimes they say coffee and eating helps. Sounds like your dad is the one with the problem. Are any other adults around? You shouldn't be there when he's drunk. Maybe he needs AA? You shouldn't have to be scared of your own father. Tell someone.

the only sure way to sober up is to sleep it off, coffee doesn't work all you get is a wide awake drunk. As far as getting him to go to sleep, when my husband drinks to much if I get him to eat then he goes to sleep.
My advice is to skip the celebration tonight till everyone cools off and try to do something really special tomorrow. Good Luck

I'm sorry for you. Please do some research and find an Al-a-teen group in your area. Family (especially parents) are not supposed to be drunk and they are not supposed to hurt you or embarrass you. You are not alone in this world. This is not a situation that you can control, so don't try to make him sleep.

Sounds like a birthday celebration somewhere other than the house would be a good birthday present!

there is no way to get rid of drunkenness, coffee won't help, so don't even try. He has to either sleep it off, or it will take its course and take time, and then and only then he will be sober.

YIKES!!!!! Take the alcohol and hide it from your dad .
next give dad something to eat it might help absorb the alcohol.
or if you have sleeping pills give some to dad .
GOOD LUCK
