You wont be waiting to tell till your fowl is approximately 8 -10 months. confident it does have yellow on the pinnacle already, yet women do have incredibly of yellow on the pinnacle nonetheless too. Its too youthful to tell, i will take some months till you may understand indefinately. by using habit (greater chirpy, whistling, studying to speak and so on) or by using the actual seem of the fowl. adult males are greater long and narrow and girls are greater backside heavy. EDIT: the colour of the cheeks and underside of the tail are all myths. the only coloration mutations of cockatiels which you would be able to visually tell the intercourse of contain generic Greys and Pearls. while the conventional gray is older its head will turn all yellow, simply by fact the guy already is acquainted with. The fowl having yellow on the pinnacle already doesnt propose a concern... additionally, the colour of the cheek patches could be deceptive. as quickly as the fowl passes by using some molts the feathering will thoroughly substitute if its a male.

As long as it is eating and drinking I would not worry. Give it time to aclimate. If it is not eating and drinking, then you need to take it to an avian vet and make sure everything is alright!
