we should care about endangered animals. it causes a shift in the balance of nature. it has a chain effect. the river dolphin in China is been proclaimed to be an extinct species. we all love dolphins and our children should be able to see them in the zoo or in real life, not just from a book. japan has a pretty big whaling industry. what will happen if they over hunt and there are no more whales in the wild? then they will have to start laying workers off, causing more unemployment and we lose the animals. these are beautiful creatures. it wouldn't be nice to just have then all dissappear.

I am not sure if you have heard this before, but everything is connected.
Yes,we should care about endangered animals. Everything is in a cycle, and we have to keep that circle flowing in order to keep everything "hunky-dory" so to speek.
Let me give you an example, Hunters who hunt for the meat of the animal, hunt for a reason,to keep the population down.Deer, lets say,eat the grass products. If no one keeps this down, the deer will take over everything, upsetting the balance.
Hope this helped!

It becomes a concept of stewardship, responsibility, biodiversity. No animal exists in isolation.
Try drawing a distinction between natural extinction, species that are rare because they are on the edge of their range, and species driven to extinction by human activity.

We should care because if 1 species dies out, countless others will be effected.
