and his parents just told him today that they are moving that afternoon! im DEAD serious!!!! so he is moving tonight. what would you do if your parents hid selling your house behind your back?! i would die! i wouldnt move!

it sound like you guys are under age so what else can you do but move and I don't call it selling their house behind his back because they are the ones paying the bills and taking care of him, and by the way if the shoe was on the other foot and your parents was moving out like that you would not die you would just learn to deal with it.

That would be devastating to anyone and I really can't believe that anyone's parents would do something like that.
Depending on how old the child is they have no choice so therefore you saying you wouldn't move would mean that you would basically be homeless - not cool.
Nevertheless, it seems to me that your friend's parents are totally insensitive. I mean if they made up their minds to move then fine, but at least give the child notice so that they can go through their separation process. I really feel bad for your friend.

What, you'd stay there and live with the new family that moved in? How out-of-it are you if you don't even notice that your parents are about to sell the house?
Unless they couldn't afford the house and the bank took their house. Then I guess it'd be sad.

We'll I wouldn't like it, but if you are underage then you have to do what your parent say. That is kind of bad how his parents did him. It seems like they are running away from something if they had to hid selling the house. That is pretty weird.

Wouldn't he know, because if they are moving tonight his parents would have had to start packing a couple days ago? But yeah, if my parents did do that I would be pissed but w/e ... any place is better than this CRAP town I live in.

Yeah totally i would feel so betrayed that they would keep that from me, and wihtout even asking me furst i would stay there and let them leave, becuase i never wnt to move! i loe where i live and i feel bad that ur friend has to deal with that im srry .

I'd be pissed. Depending on my age, I might tell them to have a nice trip and stay at my friend's place while I finish school.
