It's just what it sounds like. Little worms, parasites. A lot of kids, (something like 75% if I remember right) get pinworms at some point. They live in the intestines and feed off of blood and partially digested food. A round of medication usually clears them right up.

Yes, they are contagious. If you are around a child who has a pinworm infection be careful to disinfect surfaces that they touch, as they may have worm eggs on their hands from scratching. (Pinworms cause a very itchy bottom.) and wash your hands frequently.

lol! its when you get worms in your body. lol, im serious. its not contagious, but you can get it from eating raw meat i think? dont worry about it. :-)
