The theoretical branches sometimes cannot. For instance, some of theoretical physics is based on existing evidence and mathematics, since acual observation of certain phenomena wouldrequire higherenergystatesthan can be repplicated in the lab.

Historic sciences such as cosmology, geology and yes evolution have to use slightly different methods because of course experimentation is all but impossible.

Of course the scientific method still applies.

it particularly is going to be obtrusive that biblical claims are inherently incapable of verification. yet carbon relationship is the main precise relationship technologies often happening, simply by fact carbon dates have been correlated with tree ring dates back to approximately 6000 years in the past, this skill that they are splendid to interior of length blunders (greater helpful than a million%). Any technique maximum well known to a time-based separation could be utilized for relationship issues, and dozens of thoughts have been used. the main contemporary bit provides the age of the earth as 4566 million years, splendid to a fragment of a million%.

No, evolutionary science does not require testing, experimentation and verification. It is entirely hypothetical. For example, I am a teacher, and one day, I saw that someone had put on the board some evolutionary articles, so I wrote a challenge to the students. Here it is:

CHALLENGE TO STUDENTS:

Using the SCIENTIFIC METHOD ONLY, demonstrate how a dog can either come from or produce a non-dog. (Dog here being defined as any member of the family "Canis".) Your results must be repeatable and falsifiable.

Can't do it? THEN IT'S NOT SCIENCE.

science doesn't necessarily follow the step-by-step baconian method, cuz that method doesn't apply to all science. astronomers can't experiment by moving planets around, paleontologists can't experiment by altering past life. it's false argument by creationists to claim that evolution is only hypothetical, because the evidence is there, but the subject can't be manipulated in a simplistic manner that they seem to think is necessary for proof.

I can't think of any branch of science that doesn't. Religion and their psuedo-science ...that's another story. Even evolutionists use date and compositional testing, theory building and multiple sources to verify outcomes or disprove theories.
