Use the gel straight off the Aloe Vera plant. Break off a piece of the plant and apply it directly to the zit, works much faster and better than the over the counter acne stuff.
The Aloe will dry it out, create a natural shield to fight any infection and the plant itself has ingredients that due to its natural and concentrated form will get rid of zits at a much quicker rate. Plus Aloe has natural scar reducing ingredients so your skin will be clearer and much softer.
Now go plant shopping and never discount Mother Nature's ability to cure.
An aloe plant is just a couple of bucks and will multiply as it grows it is also great in fighting sunburn. Check it out on the web.

acne medicine fall into 3 basic categories.
1. prescription

3. Natural (herbal or home made)
#1 is used primarily to treat severe forms of acne and needs to be supervised by your doctor or dermatologist, due to it's negative side effect.
#2. Main you can buy it at a drug store and help treat mild to moderate acne with little side-effects such as itchyness, dry skin, etc. most popular in this cat is proactiv.

I would try to get some free Proactive samples and also try these:
Topical Medications:
Antibiotics:
Tetracycline: One of the first available acne antibiotics that was changed for topical use. Discoloration of the skin is a possible side effect.
Sulfonamide: Popular treatment for acne and skin inflammation. One of the oldest antibiotics to date.
Clindamycin: a semisynthetic antibiotic that is similar in nature to erythromycin.
Erythromycin: Active to a large and diverse grouping of bacteria. Its topical use is for the treatment of common acne vulgaris. It is an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory medication.
Azelaic acid: Adapted for acne treatment. Applied as a cream. Useful for treating certain acnes by antimicrobial approaches. Process can take several months to be effective

well..i think proactive works really well, but you have to be patient. The first week you use it your face just kind of stays the same and might even somewhat worsen but once you keep using it it works amazingly. It cleared my face after about a week of two. Its a three step process with proactive, one being a moisturizer which keeps your skin from drying out. Just keep trying I'm sure something will have to work for you! Hope i could help!

I know from experience that whole Clean and Clear line works really well and it's not super expensive. The products that I use from this line are the Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Daily Pore Cleanser, and Blackhead Clearing Scrub. After I cleanse my skin with these I use the Shine Control Moisturizer (lotion). You don't have to use everything in the line, but I recommend the Daily Pore Cleanser and the Shine Control Moisturizer. I hope this helps you!
