For me - both - personality and look. There has to be some attraction for you to be with the person - he doesn't have to be absolutely perfect; you know what I mean?
I can identify with your problem - I think we should take care of ourselves regardless of money or whatever. I don't want to be looking like a slob. As for my partner, he should be my reflection or at least look decent. This is a body of Christ and I'm going to try my best to be presentable physically and spiritually. Smile.

Well he's already trying to control you. I have learned that a persons personality can make them attractive or it can make them outright ugly. I go for looks and personality. My boyfriend was not cute at all when I met him, but he is such a sweetie and now I find him cute. If you dress up for you, that's fine. There is nothing wrong with that. At the same time, just because he has money doesn't mean he has to flash it by wearing all kinds of fancy clothes. When people do that, that usually means they don't have it.

no, your ot being shallow, he is just "old fashion" from what you say. if you feel good about dressing up, then by god, DRESS UP!!! just because he has the money to look the part doesn't mean he has to, and if he didn't love you, then he wouldn't be with you. he may be afraid of losing you to some pretty boy or something...

I regularly fall for the nature, although the seems do not damage both. i imagine maximum females fall for the jerks b/c they have a tendency to settle for far less and make exceptions because they sense as if they gained't locate absolutely everyone more effective perfect, so that they warfare to make it artwork with the fellow they have although in the experience that they don't seem to be thoroughly satisfied. believe me, i became once there. Now I have the guy of my aims. He helped me see that those different adult men weren't well worth my time and that he might want to manage me more effective perfect than all of them practice plus more effective.

u need to learn to love people for their differences. u r lucky he cares more than just about his looks. at least he isn't acting fake like most guys with money do. he probably dresses the way he does for comfort. u can really ask for more. ask yourself y u r not happy.

I dunno, I hate girls that look at what i'm wearing and don't want to pursue the relationship even though I am attractive to a level. I have more than enough money to buy whatever I wanted whenever I wanted but why should I? Anyways, I dunno if it's shallow but you shouldn't really care if you don't mind people seeing him.
