I am a beginner candle maker?

Question

I would like to know how to make candles with aminal print or sayings on them, like tiger stripes, cheetah print, zodiacs, etc. Are there things you buy that stick on the candle. I dont know what I am supposed to be searching for. Someone please help.

Place the tissue image against the candle and tightly wrap wax paper around the candle.

Go to Joann's Craft store site, or to their store and look at all the stuff they have for candle making. I believe that there is stick on that are made of wax and you just need to read the directions. Also, I remember reading somewhere that you can buy special paints that can be used on a candle and not burn toxic. .. Good luck to you. Keep in mind what you want, go to the library, go the store and get books about that subject and study.

I don't really know everything that you are wanting to find out, but I wanted to share my experience with you about candle making~long story short~ it cost me more to make them than it did to buy them, and it is messy! I do have a booklet: Candle Crafting for Beginners by Valey Enterprises, Inc. If you do a search, I'm sure you can find it. Actually, my Aunt got this for me when I was going to start, and I believe she got it Free at one of BIG craft stores. Try Hobby Lobby, Ben Franklin, or Garden Ridge. Also try searching eBay for: "Candle making supplies". Hope this helps some, sorry I couldn't be more help~Good Luck!
