Yeah, Islam is a misunderstood religion of peace, but 4 out of 8 Muslims who answered said they would murder a man who wrote a blasphemous book 18 years ago because it was required by their god. Imagine if this were a real study, comprising 1,200 randomly selected Muslims. That would be 50%! I'm shocked and greatly saddened. I thought people were more sensible than to kill for religious reasons in the 21st century. Why don't all you Muslim apologics find me one Christian who says he would kill Dan Brown or Richard Dawkins? This is exactly why I left Islam, and this is exactly why I will never reconvert. And this was just when I was getting along better with Muslims! It seems whenever I try to respect them, they fail to deserve my respect by totally shocking me. I was against Sen B not because she encourages freedom of religion, but because her information about freedom of religion in Islam was incorrect.
