i like this guy and i want to ask him to go see a movie as friends but i dont know how to ask him ,we talk on msn but not about interesting stuff. i have never been on a date nor had a boyfriend so i am new at this help me !!

have one of your friends ask him :-P or tell him that you and you friends (make sure you tell him your friends are going too) are going to the movies and were wondering if you wanted to come along too.

Asking him out on any kind of date, even as friends, is a sign that you have feelings for him. If you like him, you need to tell him. You don't want to make a move on the date when he's only expecting fun and freindship.
I'm not so sure about the whole dating your friend thing. If he says no, it'd be an akward moment. Your friendship might be different.

Ask if he wants to go to a movie and tell him to bring friends. You bring friends and make sure to pick a movie that isn't a love movie. Just one that is funny and you think he would like to. Then try to go and get something to eat another time, and slowly reduce the number of friends that go with you. But don't ask him to many times to bring friends or he will always bring them.

go on a group date or see what movie he is interested in talk to him and see which one he would want to see. then jus ask him hey why dont we go see it this weekend. It would be fun.

Tell him that you are going to see a movie and would he like to come along. if he says 'yes' then you can decide whether or not to bring some of your friends along. Or it could just be the two of you.

Just say you are going to the movies and your other friends are busy, ask if he wants to tag along. Tell him you dont like going places like that alone.

Just ask him what kind of movies he likes and you find a common interest ask i him if he wants to go see it or rent it.

Talk about movies and what he likes, last one he saw perhaps and say I want to see (name of movie) , and ask him what he thinks and when you find one you both might like...casually say lets go see it, im bored anyhow...and things will go from there

well just talk to him online and say wanna hit the movies with me and then when he replys tell hime when and where etc. but then dont forget to talk to him in perosn so then he thinks that You just wanna be friends and maybe you guys get together and maybe he likes you too and he may do something *wink*(kisses,hugs)

Well, I can't relate exactly, but my unbiased answer is to mention a new movie that has just come out and say,"Have you seen ______(fill in the blank)____?" If they say yes, you're busted. BUT, if they haven't seen it, just come straight out and say, "Let's go see it".....the conversation will pick itself up from there. Be fearless. The worst that can happen???? THE BEST THAT CAN HAPPEN????? He'll say "let's"......GL
