How much more can this country take before it explodes economically or in civil war for lack of a better descriptive

We are at our limit...I am waiting for civil war to start....just millions to protest amnesty would be good....our government would not know what to do if millions of middle-class Americans took to the street....I bet it would get their attention tho.... I don't understand why all of the anti-illegal groups don't join together & plan a massive protest...wonder if the national media would even notice or are they too pro-illegal!

You might as well ask when we will legalize pot....You'd get better answers.
Personally, I don't like the "illegals". But, I do support open borders. I cross the border "northern and southern" on average of twice a month each. It has really gotten to be a royal pain in @$$ on the US side. Primarily because we are hiring a bunch of school bullies to work the crossings. And they have nothing better to do, than flaunt their authority at every opportunity. Making sure you know who is "large and in charge".
The Mexicans, Canadians, and a host of others flow right through, while I am harassed to no end, and treated like dirt because I had the audacity to "leave" the country for a short spell.
Additionally, ONLY U.S. citizens will be required to show a passport at either border beginning Jan 08. to return to the US.
UNTIL WE OPEN the borders, you will continue to see the have nots move to areas where they can make more money. By opening the borders, we place the potential for equal footing in all 3 countries...as far as pay and jobs go.
Many of the "illegals" come here for $$, no other reason. They would love to stay home...but they need the money more.

Open borders are not beneficial. There's already an overflow of people in America. The population has doubled in 60 years. That's an amazing amount of people in such a short time for any country.
The country is already close to an economic disaster and illegal people are doing jobs that Americans refuse to do. I've heard many people say, "I wouldn't work that job for so little pay." Americans don't understand how desperate people from other countries are are willing to work any type of job to survive. it's sad to say that Americans are very spoiled.
It's going to be interesting to see what happens over the next twenty years.

This will never again work for the US. This country is like a magnet, and not too many who want to be here, do it in the best interest of the country. Sleeper cells abound in the US, yet the friggin democrats want gun control! Illegals come in daily and drain the infrastructure of costly services paid for by the tax payers. Yet, the democrats will offer them amnesty!
In the US Latinos, mostly illegal Latinos represent the second largest race of people occupying our jails and prisons, in California, I'm sure they are the largest occupiers.
Your question should read: how much more of the democrats can we take before....................

It is to Democrat Politicians.
Democrats get hundreds of thousands of votes from illegals.
Illegals are taking over as the major Democrat Base of voters.
That's why they want Open Borders.

It is only our side that is really opening! The Mexicans have a very protectionist system in place!
FYI-I am finding that there are activist Hispanics filing really bogus complaints about anything on these pages they do not like-if you have also suffered-let the Yahoo's know!

not much if you ask me they shoud close the borders and quite playing politics bc that is the only reason why they wont cose the borders bc of political reasons. which is bull **** but that is the way it is. We do need to close it and take care of the ALL illegals immigrants and deport them.

Hell NO! What we need is to close the border down.Then begin shipping these illegals back where ever they escaped from.They are doing immeasurable damage to our country and it needs to STOP!
