A wedding dress shirt made specifically to your measurement by a reputable dressmaker should cost around $50, if you supply the material and thread and buttons, etc. Before you complain that the cost is too high, just remember that it would take a minimum of 8 to 10 hours to sew this item, fit it, and do the fine tailoring to your form. So it translates into less than minimum wage.

If you use a tailor, the shirt will cost you a lot more--probably at least double.

The cheapest way to get a finely tailored wedding dress shirt, is to buy one that fits you properly over the shoulders, in the length of the arms, and in the neck, and is the general style you want. And then take that shirt to the dressmaker and have her tailor it to your form. The tailoring should cost around $10. With the shirt itself costing anywhere from $50 to $100 depending on the material, and the manufacturer.

Probably your easiest bet is to go to Sears, Wal-Mart or J C PEnny tehy sell good shirts with ties for a reasonable price. But to hae them custom made, well it depends on the material and how long it takes to make and how much a seemstress charges. Might be cheaper to buy one with a tie all ready
