First of all, I think that all people have their own definition of what love really is. And what works for some, doesn't work for others. But for me, its not trying to change or control the person you love, its excepting them and loving them for who they are, and whatever that needs some improving, THEY will be the one to decide weither they need to change a few bad things in them or not. Its bringing someone up, and not knocking them down, its compassion, its support, and understanding. To me, love is bringing out the best in someone, its helping them too unlock doors in them , and discover things that they didn't know or realize about themselfs. Its everything positive.

Love is not a crush. Love don't need to be with a boy, and it should not be any different. When you fall in love... it's like when you take his good looks, his charm and the romance away, and you find that you care for this person.
Love is too complicated to be called just a "feeling".

Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen.
It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude.
It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification.

The age old question:
Science says its chemicals
Hurt Woman say chocolate
Hurt men say sluts and booze
Point is we all consider love to be something diff, my version says its someone who likes you for who you are, and understands you like no one else. Its beyond feelings but a rational match of financial, secure and direct things.

Love is when you care so much about a person that you feel what they feel, when they're sad, you're sad; when they're happy, you're happy.... when you find yourself sacrificing for someone because you care, then you love them... this person also makes you happier than you've ever been...
