You can use a daily spray like nasonex which works within a week. It is possible you have polyps that are causing the problem and the spray will work for that as well.

See a doctor. Allergies can develop later in life also...they don't necessarily show themselves at an early age.
The runny nose could be a host of things. Ranging from a simple allergy to a serious sinus infection.
I was 37 when I developed an allergy to short haired animals (hamsters) even though I had owned several over the years. I was in my forties when I developed a sever allergy to certain perfumes. Both allergies caused a constant runny nose, while the "hamster" allergy led to coughing blood...something that totally freaked me out!

If you have not been tested for allergies, then it probably is allergies. It could be grasses, pollen and other allergens. You don't have to have a rash to be allergic to something. Check out some of the information on allergies on this site and maybe you can find something that will help you figure it out. Good luck with your runny nose.

Bet you do. Have allergies I mean. You can develope allergies at any time at any age. Try an allergy med for a week and see if you feel better. If you do then talk to a doc about the best med for you. If you dont I guess it didnt hurt anything.

It really does sound like allergies---possibly to mold or dust. I'd see an allergist if I were you. In the meantime, you might want to switch to using a pillow that is made of an allergy resistant material (it should say on the tag) and maybe even a mattress cover and see if those help.

it sounds like you have allergies. I had similar symptoms and took a visit to the doctor; I informed him that I had a cold (running nose) for about six months. He told me that I was allergic to something . I didn't take any test, however, he did give me some medicine that really help. I suggest you go to your doctor and see what he says (good luck).

I hope the best answer to this question could be answered by the yahoo community, I think it's a great question of which myself am wondering about the answer.
We need some doctors here fast.
I con only suggest taking in a lot of vitamin C, and visiting your specialist.
