Just ask your friend for him. He will know she doesn't like him. But I think if you told him you liked him it would put a strain on your friendship. He is not the only boy in town.

First off tell him you are not the one who should be asking her for him because you like him. Tell him he needs to ask her himself (that way he will know you arent lying about her not liking him and that you didnt make it up). Then tell him if it doesnt work out that you are interested and that if he is interested to give you a call. Leave it at that.

That sucks!! That happened to me too. I'd just wait to tell him you like him, because he likes your friend. Maybe when you tell him she doesn't like him, he'lll find a more sensitive side of you...?
