I am single, & am a Flight Attendant, so I get Free-air-fare. What is a rough gestimate of the cost I would be spending? I hope to go this fall!

I hope to make a 2 week vacation out of it, & plan on moderate spending. I want the true cultural experience of it, so it's a great Idea for me to get a "How-to" book. Thanks for the suggestions, and keep em coming!

You can do it on a budget or go luxury. It really depends. I would suggest putting most everything on your credit card instead of taking money with you. You will get a better exchange rate and you won't have to worry about losing your money.

There are hostels that will charge $30/night or you can spend $400/night at a 5-star hotel. It just really depends on what you want to do. I suggest that you get a travel book and read up about different places you want to go. Let's Go and Lonely Planet seem to cater to more of a younger-budget oriented crowd whereas Frommer's seems to cater to one with more money. They will list suggested hotels and give a price range, you can kind of make you budget based on that.

You can make it work on whatever budget. The most expensive part of getting to Europe is the airfare. When I was in France, I ate cheaply at the Crepe carts around the city. There are ways to save money. Decide to have just one nice meal in each city you visit.

If you are planning on traveling to more than one city, consider gettting a Eurorail pass.

Have fun.

Depends where you'll visit in Europe and for how long. For example London,Paris or Athens are very expensive but Eastern Countries are really cheap.
